75 POUNDS LOST IN KIHEI, HAIKU, WAILUKU, MAUI, HAWAII
What is constipation?http://www.CaptainColon.com Constipation means different things to different people. For many people, it simply means infrequent stools. For others, however, constipation means hard stools, difficulty passing stools (straining), or a sense of incomplete emptying after a bowel movement. The cause of each of these "types" of constipation probably is different, and the approach to each should be tailored to the specific type of constipation. Constipation can also alternate with diarrhea. This pattern is more commonly considered as part of the irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). At the extreme end of the constipation spectrum is fecal impaction, a condition in which stool hardens in the rectum and prevents the passage of any stool. The number of bowel movements generally decreases with age. Ninety-five percent of adults have bowel movements between three and 21 times per week, and this would be considered normal. The most common pattern is one bowel movement a day, but this pattern is seen in less than 50% of people. Moreover, most people are irregular and do not have bowel movements every day or the same number of bowel movements each day. Medically speaking, constipation usually is defined as fewer than three bowel movements per week (this is crazy). Severe constipation is defined as less than one bowel movement per week ( a road to disease). There is no medical reason to have a bowel movement every day ( that is why medicine is very flawed). Going without a bowel movement for two or three days does not cause physical discomfort, only mental distress for some people. Contrary to popular belief, there is no evidence that "toxins" accumulate when bowel movements are infrequent or that constipation leads to cancer ( give me a break, if you do not eliminate waste where else can the toxins go?).It is important to distinguish acute (recent onset) constipation from chronic (long duration) constipation. Acute constipation requires urgent assessment because a serious medical illness may be the underlying cause (e.g., tumors of the colon). Constipation also requires an immediate assessment if it is accompanied by worrisome symptoms such as rectal bleeding, abdominal pain and cramps, nausea and vomiting, and involuntary weight loss. Please do yourself a favor if you have constipation go on a colon cleanse or see a colon hydrotherapist. http://www.CaptainColon.com

Enema or Friend. A tale of a Maui Colon
Do we have to talk about it?
If you?re a typical American, your colon is probably the most neglected organ in your entire body. But did you know that it?s the most vital in terms of your overall health?
Why do we neglect our colons? Because, for obvious reasons, colon health is a subject
none of us wants to talk about in ?polite conversation.? Out of sight, out of mind.
What if I told you that a clogged colon is quite possibly robbing you of the energy,
vitality and peace of mind that you deserve?
?I?m not constipated!?
You might say: ?What?s the big deal?? My colon must not be clogged because I have normal bowel movements.Well, you may be shocked to learn that the National College of
Chiropractic in Chicago performed autopsies on 300 bodies1.
According to the histories of the deceased, 285 of them claimed that they were not
constipated and had ?normal? bowel movements. What the autopsies revealed absolutely amazed the examiners:
95% of the bodies examined were constipated!
Some of the bodies were found to have colons bloated up to 12 inches in diameter (a
normal colon is 2-3 inches in diameter) and were encrusted with a long-term buildup of
toxic material.The ?Serial Killer?
? In the United States, 1 out of every 17 Americans will develop colorectal cancer
Deaths from colorectal cancer rank third after lung and prostate cancer for menand after lung and breast cancer for women. ? Most colon cancers are tumors that develop from the glands lining the colon?s inner wall.According to research conducted by Dr. Denis P. Burkitt, M.D.3, the length of time foodwastes remain in the bowel determines: ? How putrefactive (decayed or rotten) they become inside you ? How much fat is absorbed through your bowel wall (including unhealthy
cholesterol)? What sort of toxins develop in and pass through your bowelDr. Burkitt clearly linked how people with rapid bowel transit times (associated with clean, constipation-free colons) have dramatically fewer incidences of colon disease, including colon cancer.Your 3 Point Checkup
Did you know that you?re quite possibly being poisoned by your own body?
Most people have no clue as to why they?re experiencing all too common health issues
that can be a direct result of inadequate digestion and elimination.Could this be happening to you?
Here?s a quick 3 question test that can help you find out:1. Do you frequently feel sluggish, tired or lethargic? ____ Yes ____ No
2. Do you have arthritis or experience frequent body aches and pains, including
headaches? ____ Yes ____ No
3. Are you experiencing constipation, diarrhea or irregular bowel movements?
____ Yes ____ No
If you answered ?Yes? to any of the 3 questions, you could be heading for disaster. What
do you do? For starters, you should ?clean yourself out? as soon as possible! Proper cleansing of the colon can loosen and remove years of the toxic buildup that couldbe caked on your colon?s inner wall (which is exactly where most colon cancers
develop). Please come see us in Maui, Hawaii. Go to www.VolcanoHealing.com

Maui Hawaiian Sea Water Cleanse Part 2
http://www.CaptainColon.com The colon?s main function is the reabsorption of nutrients and water into our bodies and the elimination of toxic wastes through regular bowel movements. When the bowel is impacted, however, problems arise such as constipation, hemorrhoids, ulcerative colitis and colon cancer. Common symptoms resulting from accumulated toxins in the bowel can include headaches, bad breath, allergy symptoms, PMS, fatigue, depression, irritability, bloating, and frequent infections.
As Dr James Balch writes, ?Retained debris in the colon leads to the absorption of toxins resulting in systemic poisoning. Colon cleansing can rid the colon of debris and help prevent and treat a variety of health problems.?
In order to prevent such problems, it is recommended that one regularly cleanses their colon, small and large intestine. This is known as ?colon cleansing.? As the average adult has between 5 and 40 pounds of compacted waste in their bowels, a good colon cleanse would be of great benefit. It is important to know that all colon cleansing treatments are not equal, however.
The Different Types of Colon Cleansing
Colon Hydrotherapy
Colon hydrotherapy is the process of warm, filtered water being gently fused into the colon through the anus via a plastic tubing that is disposable. This procedure must be performed by a certified or licensed professional for optimum results and safety. Visit www.VolcanoHealing.com to enjoy a retreat in Maui while fasting, detoxing and colon cleansing. Colon hydrotherapy cleanses the large intestine only and the instrument used must be FDA cleared to ensure sanitary conditions.
When used in conjunction with an OXYGEN based cleanser, it is possible, over time, to rid the body of toxins and impacted toxins in both the small and large intestine. Home use systems are available and are best used as an adjunct to the therapy performed by one's professional colon hydrotherapist.
Colon hydrotherapy is also know as ?colonic irrigation? and ?using colenemas.?
Enemas
Enemas are a treatment that has been used for many centuries to treat constipation. Their effectiveness, however, depends on the type of enema that is used. In general, enemas will only remove material from the lower part of the colon and none are able to oxidize or melt away the compaction. They are useful, however, for emptying the rectum , which is the lowest 8 to 12 inches of the colon. On the other hand, many do not like having to insert the enema into their rectal cavity.
The main types of enemas are water enemas (similar to hydrotherapy except using a bag as much less water), coffee enemas, and clay enemas.

Water, Dehydration, Weight Loss and Your Health
Drink To Your Health: The Whole-body Benefits Of Water
Before you reach for that sugary soft drink, consider this the next time you feel a little parched: Clean, pure water is essential to every function your body performs. Second only to the air you breathe in its vital importance, it makes up roughly two-thirds of your body. Deprived of it completely, you may not even survive a week. And even the mildest case of dehydration can cause fatigue, dizziness, headaches and muscle weakness. No wonder health experts are constantly telling us to drink more water.
Crucial to the bodys cleansing processes, water lessens the burden on the organs involved in detoxificationmainly the liver and kidneysby flushing out toxins and waste products. Drinking plenty of water each day also helps prevent constipation by moving food through the digestive tract. A necessary lubricant, it helps to ease elimination and promote regular bowel movements.
As part of a healthy weight loss program, water can help shed the pounds by increasing your metabolism. While the science behind this concept is the subject of ongoing research, studies have shown that drinking more water can significantly boost your metabolic rate and thus burn even more calories. Plus, drinking cold water can increase your metabolism even more, since the body must expend more energy to warm it up.
In addition to these important functions, water also helps to regulate body temperature through perspirationas sweat evaporates, the body cools down. Water also carries necessary nutrients to the bodys cells; surrounds and protects the joints, organs tissues; and moistens soft tissue such as that of the eyes, mouth and nose.
Everyday functions such as breathing, perspiring and elimination constantly deplete the bodys supply of this vital liquid. Although advice varies as to how much water you should drink each day, a good rule of thumb is to drink at least half your body weight in ounces daily. Try to drink only pure water and avoid caffeinated beverages such as coffee and tea, as well as sugary juices and soft drinks. If you need a splash of flavor in your water, add a spritz of fresh lemon or lime juice. Non-caffeinated herbal teas are also a delicious way to boost your water intake, and many fruits and vegetables contain high amounts of water.
Lifestyle differences such as frequent exercise, illness, environmental conditions (dry, hot, humid, high altitude, etc.), as well as pregnancy and breastfeeding will likely increase the amount of water your body needs, so it is important to be mindful of changes in your daily routine.

Healthy Weight Loss Information - Nature's Weight Loss Secret
Think of it this way, if your digestive system is a long tube that flows one-way, then we must prevent occasional constipation from stopping up the works and causing excess retention. Indeed, if your bowels are irregular, then where is all that undigested & constipated food going? So, improve digestion & eliminate constipation, and you will encourage your body to naturally shed excess weight.
According to digestive expert & colon therapist, Brenda Watson, constipation can also lead to autointoxication, which her book Essential Cleansing for Perfect Health defines as poisoning, or the state of being poisoned, from toxic substances produced within the body. Brenda maintains that impaired digestion allows harmful microbes in the digestive tract to act on undigested food. She continues the argument by stating that faulty elimination can then allow these toxins to seep from the intestinal tract into the circulatory system, where they can cause numerous hazards to the body.
In her newest book, The Fiber35 Diet, Ms Watson shares with us the detoxification factor. She reminds us that toxins can slow down our metabolism, decrease our ability to burn fat, and even slow down the time it takes to feel full. So, if our goal is to lose weight, then we are encouraged to cleanse and detoxify.
To cleanse naturally, the colon is helped by our consumption of fiber, which promotes regularity and absorbs excess toxins, eliminating them in a healthy bowel movement. Sadly, few Americans are getting the quantity of fiber needed to promote a healthy colon. The American Dietetic Association recommends that adults consume 20-35 grams of fiber every day for optimal health. Most of us are lucky if we consume 12-15 grams of fiber in our average diet. Since our body is not getting the nutritional support it needs to successfully cleanse, then it is unable to eliminate and detoxify properly.
