DISCLAIMER:This film can cause seizures in some.This is the answer for the bad video that preceded it.A formal apology of sorts.Windows Movie Maker was not cut out to making a video this intense...and so, it crashed.A lot.It crashed while working on it....it crashed while saving...it crashed while loading....it crashed as I was opening the program.....hell, it even crashed when WMM wasn't even running.So going back to fix and problems with it was out of the question.About the video itself;I really pushed hard to create this one,threw dozens of tricks I knew to pull this off.There is a 30 second fight sequence in this video that took me nearly two weeks to complete.I wanted an intense experience so I took the long road and created flashes for it.How it it was done was a bit tricky, but simple once you get the technique down.I took a five second piece of the 30 second sequence and copied it about 100-150 times.What I did then was trimmed each clip and advanced the animation by a frame and then quadrupled the speed, resulting in a clip that was only blip on the screen.To create the white flashes,I could have used the WMM effects package and used the flashes provided...but, they weren't nearly as effective as doing it yourself.So what I did was create a video text clip that was completely white and trimmed it down to the size of the fighting clips that I was applying them to.After inserting it next to the video clip, I ended up getting a super fast video clip followed up by a flash of white.I then took the next clip and advanced the animation my two frames and trimmed it down, then slapped the white flash after it.and so on and so on.The result was a 30 second sequence that had 827 video clips and 826 white flashes.and the product was something that neither WMM nor Winamp could keep up with.The song used, 'Becoming The Dragon' was a hard one to apply in a amv because of it long instrumentals, especially at the end....and I wouldn't consider myself as a Amateur AMV Director if I didn't use all of the song.I was pleased to see that it fit the series well.All in all,despite the THREE mistakes...I am pretty happy with this.Enjoy.
